Apple Doubles iPhone Shipments

User Rating: / 0
PoorBest

Apple announced its earnings for the just completed October-December 2009 quarter (first quarter 2010) and reported 2 x iPhone sales. The company also announced changes to its accounting practices for iPhone sales, so that the revenue will be recognized in the quarter sold instead of spacing the revenue over a 2-year period. This makes it hard to compare quarter to quarter, but is also why shipments are showing how things are really going. (Extremely well I would say).
