Service Reviews

Mobile UC will be available to the market through a variety of channels-to-market and a variety of packaging options. One of these options is via the hosted service implementation. In the hosted mobile UC context, the typical call control server is integrated with mobile UC server software and in some cases mobile phone client software to execute the service.

In the Brockmann & Company framework, mobile UC incorporates fixed-mobile convergence, and extends those call flow and rudimentary call control features of fixed-mobile convergence to incorporate more sophisticated service requirements such as:

  • Corporate directory access
  • Instant messaging with mobile and desktop users
  • Group conference calls initiated with one-click
In this section, we present our analysis of various mobile unified communications services optimized for business.
